Most Frequently Asked Questions From a Newbie Boudie Babe!

The thought of a boudoir session can be nerve-wrecking. When planning for each session, I get asked all kinds of questions! I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequent ones to give you an idea while preparing for your boudoir session with me! Lets get into it..

“Do you share my images?”

I share ONLY what you sign off on. My top priority is client comfort, so I have a very specific and detailed model release that you look over and sign at the end of your reveal/ordering appointment. This gives you a chance to see all images BEFORE picking what you’re ok with me sharing. Sometimes these images are specifically for you and your hunny, other times, they’re for you to love your body and share with the world what an incredible experience you had! Either way, I’m happy with all options! Unless you booked under a model release required session, you can keep them all to yourself and don’t have to sign a release at all! Again, it is ONLY what you’re comfortable with. <3

“Do I have to wear lingerie?”

Absolutely not! Some of my clients have come in without any lingerie at all! Just strictly pieces from their every day wardrobe that they love and feel their best in! I expect the same from you. What makes you feel sexy? What makes you feel like a rockstar? If its jeans and a cute top (tight OR super baggy) bring that! If it’s lingerie and strappy things, bring that! Our studio has zero restriction on wardrobe ideas. Every woman is different! To let you in on a little secret, I walk around the house in a super baggy Tshirt and panties when I’m most comfy. So I would bring that <3 I help with styling so you feel like You+, not somebody else entirely.

“Do you have payment plans?”

Pre-payment is actually a requirement for all sessions! I book out to 12 months so that you can book and do a pre-payment plan leading up to your session date. This allows you to feel like you can still leave with everything you want, and not have a lump payment! All collections come with a certain number of bonuses as well, so you get some fun little freebies. I schedule this with you when you first book so you can get started asap!

“Is hair and makeup included?”

Hair and makeup is included in all collections that have a session time over an hour. This includes the Vixen, the Bombshell, and the Goddess. I have 2 collections (the Pinup, and the Siren) that do not come with it included, but it can be added 🙂

“Do you photoshop my images?”

I do and I don’t! Coloration, lighting, and light skin retouching is included. However, I DO NOT, under any circumstances, edit out anything that is permanent. Temporary skin situations like blemishes, bruises, bug bites, etc… will be edited out. Everything permanent stays, as it’s a part of your journey! This whole process is to fall more in love with yourself AS YOU ARE. If there are parts of yourself that you’re learning to love still and aren’t thrilled about, thats ok! I am skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best!

“Where should I buy my outfits?”

There are a few stores online that I cannot get enough of, and some in person that will surprise you!

In person, I’d recommend Forever21, Victoria’s secret, or your local sex shop! A lot of them have a lingerie section that is stunner!

Online, I’d recommend Savage X Fenty, Adore Me, Torrid, Yandy, and Spicy Lingerie. Amazon can also have some incredible things!

“What type of print products do you have?”

I offer a variety of luxury albums and wall art that are incredible in quality and look! The album with gilding on the side is my absolute favorite. Seeing yourself in physical print… the feeling is unbeatable! “My first time ever doing boudoir and it was one I’ll never forget! “Do you offer digitals?”

Most of my collections include digitals with the print products. Should you want to only take home digitals, we offer digital only collections as well! They are delivered to you in a locked online gallery with full resolution images.

“Im freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?”

Nerves are all part of the experience. It would be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. The butterflies in the beginning of your session day slowly go away as I walk you through everything. Hair and makeup time acts as some relaxing girl time, and ends up being so much fun! Posing instruction will help you feel confident in every shot, and truly like you’ve done this a million times. <3

“How many outfits should I bring?”

This depends on your collection. It could include anywhere from 1-4 outfits! I would bring a few more than are included so we can pick your favorites based on how you feel on the day of!

“Should I get to my shoot early?”

You should always plan on getting to your session about 10 minutes early so we can go through your outfits and vision and make a plan for your hair and makeup!

“Where is your studio located?”

We are located in Old Town La Quinta, a cute little historic area with tons of boutique shops and restaurants!
