Sarah and I did this incredibly creative and artistic shoot last week and I can't even begin to describe the feeling of raw vulnerability that came with me seeing these few photos and what they bring and hold for me. Working with Sarah was amazing, she brought this shoot to life with her creativity and own inspiration, running with anything that popped into her mind while moving around the studio, executing yet another incredible set of images, trust her intuition and run with her ideas when she lets that spark out. Raw, naked, vulnerable. Here's to seeking that inner light and bringing it to the surface in all things.

I have always wanted to do fun or sexy pics. I never felt confident or photogenic enough to try. I'm the person who takes 100 selfies to find one I MIGHT like. So when this opportunity popped up on Facebook, I thought "Why not try!". To book it was amazing and scary. But to start with such amazing ladies to hype you up and make you look amazing in the process... it felt so awesome! It gave me so much confidence. It was literally like confidence therapy. I have given birth 5 times and wore a bikini at the beach for the first time in over 10 years!! It has truly helped me to see my beauty and to love myself. To be confident in myself ALL the time.
It was a lot easier than I thought! Sarah makes you feel comfortable and is the woman with a plan so you never feel lost and wonder what to do or how to do it. Also the results will amaze you! I never thought I'd have a hard a time saying no to a picture of myself, but the photos Sarah created were gorgeous!
I did my boudoir shoot last December as a birthday gift to my husband (a Christmas baby) and a Christmas gift to myself. I was raised in a high-demand religious cult and taught that my sexuality was inherently wrong and that my body was disgusting. Thankfully, I married a man who celebrated my sexuality and found me attractive and I wanted to see what he saw.
Sarah made me feel so beautiful and sexy the entire time! Ultimately, I rendered hubby SPEECHLESS, which is a difficult task! I’ve since lost weight and someday once I reached my next goal, I’m gonna do this again just for me because I deserve it.

I will be the first to tell you, nerves are COMPLETELY normal before a shoot like this. My biggest advice is this:
There is a difference between "Nervous and excited!!" and "Nervous and uncomfortable" . If you are the first, you're ready to step outside your comfort zone and do this thing!! It's going to be a blast! If you're the second, I recommend sitting on the idea, researching more, and really clarifying why you want this experience for yourself before booking. This will ensure you'll get the most out of your experience, and be teamed up with a photographer who is the perfect match to make it happen!
Absolutely, I will!! I can pose others all day long, but you put me in front of the camera and I'm as awkward as a lizard in heels!
Like you, I need as much direction as possible, and I will definitely be providing that for you as well. No experience necessary! I'll teach you how to point your toes, I'll fix every hair on your head, I'll give you tips on how to lay your hands... I got your back! Some posing will be stretchy and a little twisty, but most of the time, my posing can remain very natural based on how you move your body in normal life. We will go over the emotion and vibe you want your images to portray beforehand. From there, I use my experience and knowledge in body language to bring those emotions to fruition.
There's two answers to this question:
1. If you have a deadline for your products - (i.e. a wedding date, an engagement, an anniversary, a birthday...) I would book AT LEAST 3 months in advance. Albums can take between 4-6 weeks and I want to make sure there's wiggle room for you to get everything WELL in advance. This also goes for themed sessions (Valentines day, Christmas, Halloween, etc!)
2. If you have no deadline date - you can book as close as next week and as far out as 3 months! If we have the dates open, you can snag them :)

Makeup for my studio is done by Briana - @brianamua on Instagram - She has worked with me for over 3 years and has KILLED IT every time. She will customize the look to the vibe you want, your facial features, what would look best with your wardrobe, etc.. Your voice is #1 when it comes to your look. She has worked with all skin shades and types and is a QUEEN at lip color mixing. She also has a nail business!
Your hair will be styled by my hair artist, Sarah G. - @justahairwitch on Instagram - She literally is a witch when it comes to styles, but the one she has the most fun with is what we call "sex hair without the sex"! Its voluminous, natural, and a little disheveled. She runs her own private hair salon and also provides energy work such as Reiki and Space Cleansing.
All sessions take place in my studio in La Quinta, CA. It's a super homey space that feels like I'm photographing you in your own living room! I am constantly updating the space to make sure the energy feels safe, warm and inviting. A space can say a lot about the session you're about to have, and those qualities are number 1 for me. The space is full natural light with a few lamp additions to provide a very realistic feel.
If you've booked a travel session, they will take place in a specific location of my choosing based on styling and area. Those specifics will be delivered to you well in advance once booked.

Yes! All albums are created based off your choice of cover material, gilding, and image cover options. You can always add on products/images to whichever collection suits you best.
For example, say you pre-purchased our Vixen collection which comes with 30 images. You go through your gallery on your session day, and end up loving 42 images instead! We will look at the collection up (The Bombshell - comes with 40 images) and decide if you want to upgrade collections, or just add the images into the collection you already have!
I do! Any form of pre-session payment (whether it be a payment plan or paid in full) opens up freebies and bonuses you can add to your experience/collection! Pre-session payment plans is a payment plan leading up to the day of, and are always set to end two weeks prior to your shoot day. You can do weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payments.
I also partner with Affirm, Afterpay, PayPal Credit, and Klarna for longer term financing. These can be use for prepayment!
The session time allows for 2 looks, so I would bring 4-5 with you! This allows us to go through the options on the morning of, together, and pick out what feels best. I tell clients there is no such thing as bringing too much! When in doubt, put it in your bag! Can you tell this is one of my favorite parts of the day? :)
Well, first things first, DO. NOT. GOOGLE "what to wear to your boudoir session". Simply because every single thing you read will be wrong in my eyes. Hear me deeply when I say this. BRING WHATEVER YOU WANT. Literally, there are no rules. Whats your style? Whats your perspective of sexy? Is it a baggy T-shirt with some cheeky panties? Bring that. Is it overalls with a crop underneath? Bring that. Is it a moo-moo? BRING IT. Is it a 6 piece strappy situation with fishnets and stilettos? Bring it!! I want you to see your every day beauty and your version of sexy in these images, not just in lingerie if that's not what you love. If it is, we will rock it!
The whole point of this session is to show you how incredible and stunning you are, AS YOU ARE on a daily basis. Not just while you're in the studio. Go nuts and have fun with it!

This is going to be an answer you want to read in its entirety, because I cannot stress it enough.
"Yes!... However! " is my answer. I LOVE when clients bring someone along when they want to. Here's the golden rule. The person you bring MUST be your absolute cheerleader. There is no room for negativity, critique, pressure, or discomfort in this studio space. It is a safe space for you to be exactly who you want to be. If they start leading the session into a negative zone in any way, they will be asked to leave and wait in the car.
So here's what you do to decide. I want you to close your eyes, and picture your IDEAL hype person. The one that just can't help but make you feel insanely incredible, hot, important, and supported. If the person you want to bring does not match that vision, do not bring them. If they do, LETS GET IT!!
I've had clients bring their besties, their significant others, their grandmoms, and even their moms! It has always been the best time. Support is always welcome here, as long as it's true support. :)
If that's what you'd prefer, YES. I have a model release I send out to all clients after their session. It has 3 options of release on it to decide what they are ok with me sharing. If you do not want anything shared, that is totally fine! You would not choose an option, and put in the comments box "No Release". This model release is also customizable and we will walk through those details at the ordering appointment once you've seen your full gallery.
Privacy is HUGE for me and nothing will be shared without your permission.
