Hi! I'm Sarah
I spent years being torn down in my natural me state and ended up forgetting completely who I was and what made me thrive in happiness. The day I realized me giving so much of myself was actually unhealthy, my world changed. I spent a year changing every part of my life. I learned how to be loud AND quiet, how to refill my own cup so I can then genuinely help others, I rekindled important relationships with family and friends, and I rediscovered true happiness in who I am. In shooting boudoir, I have the opportunity to help women do the same in their own lives. I get to remind them that they're more than their roles in life, their titles, their income, their work, their status... In their natural skin, they are stunning. This session allows you to tell your story the way it was meant to be told - through your voice, your truth, your depth... There is so much beauty in your journey. Come and see for yourself.
I
don't ever dwell on the past. I recognize it as the lessons I needed to learn to become my best self. The biggest lesson necessary for a healthier me was breaking away from my codependency.
Fun facts about me:
1. I've been a photographer for over 15 years
2. My favorite leisure activity is ANYTHING in this whole world with my soulmate, my 2 little girls, and my pups.
3. Emperors New Groove is, was, and always will be the greatest movie of all time. I will die on this hill.
4. I am fascinated by the intricacies and beauty of the human body, mind, and soul, and love to research body language, human design, and what makes humans tick.
5. The quickest ways to my heart are through chocolate lava cake, bootie shoes, a burger that gets all over the place, and travelers hats
6. I love a good adventure!! "Unknown destinations" adventures where we randomly choose different turns and directions in the car until we just end up somewhere.... ugh, yes please!!
the studio
This is one of my favorite places to exist when I need the world to pause for a moment. It's a space meant to feel like home... comfortable, energetic, warm, and SAFE. There are two different living room scenes, a cozy chair nook with a lamp, the floating pendant, and a hidden bed set that can be created with a handful of full blankets and duvets! This studio can be converted to provide many different vibes, and is updated/changed every 6 months to keep things (my brain, mostly) fresh!

Sarah and I did this incredibly creative and artistic shoot last week and I can't even begin to describe the feeling of raw vulnerability that came with me seeing these few photos and what they bring and hold for me. Working with Sarah was amazing, she brought this shoot to life with her creativity and own inspiration, running with anything that popped into her mind while moving around the studio, executing yet another incredible set of images, trust her intuition and run with her ideas when she lets that spark out. Raw, naked, vulnerable. Here's to seeking that inner light and bringing it to the surface in all things.

I have always wanted to do fun or sexy pics. I never felt confident or photogenic enough to try. I'm the person who takes 100 selfies to find one I MIGHT like. So when this opportunity popped up on Facebook, I thought "Why not try!". To book it was amazing and scary. But to start with such amazing ladies to hype you up and make you look amazing in the process... it felt so awesome! It gave me so much confidence. It was literally like confidence therapy. I have given birth 5 times and wore a bikini at the beach for the first time in over 10 years!! It has truly helped me to see my beauty and to love myself. To be confident in myself ALL the time.
It was a lot easier than I thought! Sarah makes you feel comfortable and is the woman with a plan so you never feel lost and wonder what to do or how to do it. Also the results will amaze you! I never thought I'd have a hard a time saying no to a picture of myself, but the photos Sarah created were gorgeous!
I did my boudoir shoot last December as a birthday gift to my husband (a Christmas baby) and a Christmas gift to myself. I was raised in a high-demand religious cult and taught that my sexuality was inherently wrong and that my body was disgusting. Thankfully, I married a man who celebrated my sexuality and found me attractive and I wanted to see what he saw.
Sarah made me feel so beautiful and sexy the entire time! Ultimately, I rendered hubby SPEECHLESS, which is a difficult task! I’ve since lost weight and someday once I reached my next goal, I’m gonna do this again just for me because I deserve it.
